WE|Sail Adventures to Mexico City | Episode 104
This episode we park our boat in the marina and take a week off from sailing around the Sea of Cortez to go inland and explore the sights and sounds of Mexico City WATCH NOW. A few weeks back we met new friends while sailing some beautiful anchorages north of La Paz and they extended a very warm invitation to joint their family in Mexico City for a week of inland exploration.
Of course we jumped at the opportunity to go see this legendary city, and soon found that our hosts had planned far more than just city sight seeing. We started off by heading out of the city to a popular small mountain town called Tepoztlan- a fantastic quaint little town surrounded by steep old granite hills. After a few fantastic days there, our next stop took us to a very picturesque town called Taxco that felt more like the Greek towns of the Mediterranean than it did Mexico.
It was one of the most beautiful towns we have seen in all of our Central American travels. Follow along to get a feel for some of the greater spots in and around Mexico City.
