SEASON 6 - Sailing West in the South Pacific
After 2 years of sailing and exploring the idyllic islands of French Polynesia, it is time for us to move on and sail West to the rest. There are thousands of more islands beyond French Polynesia and this season we sail the rest of the South Pacific before making our way to New Zealand.
Join us on our 5th season of sailing around the world. This year we make the big jump across the South Pacific Ocean to French Polynesia. We welcome our new crew and explore a whole new hemisphere!
Our New Boat
We embark on a new season of sailing. We have been sailing for 3 years and have traveled over 10,000 nautical miles. We set out for more adventures and this season we made some changes. We have upgraded boats to a larger Fountaine Pajot. We sold Evolias and are getting ready and preparing for a Pacific Crossing on our new 2015 Helia 44. Welcome to the adventures of WE aboard VA!
The season where the Adventures of WE began. We moved from the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado onto our 2014 Fountaine Pajot Lipari. A move that had changed our lives! Follow along as we document the first of everything for us. We started a whole new chapter in our lives as we transitioned from land to sea, sailing the Caribbean Islands.
WE have covered some water, sailing nearly 7000 nautical miles, visiting over 20 different countries and islands and also crossing the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean. Our season 2 adventures were full of little lessons and so many beautiful places. Come along as we take on bigger sails and transit to another ocean!
A milestone to cross into another ocean, and even more so the biggest ocean of them all. Our season 3 adventures takes you to the Pacific, sailing up Central America in hopes to cross the ocean to the South Pacific Islands, but with COVID-19 showing its face to the world just after the new year we find ourselves coming up with a new plan and sail the Sea of Cortez. When one door closes another shall open.
